Carlton Group Safety Solutions Inaugural Training
Congratulations to Carlton Group, Carlton Scale, ES, Inc. for attending the very 1st Training session held in our newest Charlotte, NC training facility.
What a great week to spend with 6 Carlton Group employees learning about Overhead Crane and Hoist Inspection/Maintenance. Each employee spent 3 days learning how to inspect all parts of the Crane, Hoist, and Trolley. On the 4th and 5th day, it was all hands on taking apart manual hoist and electric hoist to ensure proper inspection, adjustment, gapping brakes, tracing wires and re-assembly.
Under supervision each employee is now ready to work under the journeyman program to hone their craft and complete Overhead Crane Inspections. Working towards the title of Overhead Crane Inspector each employee will be required to acquire their 2,000 hrs of experience and demonstrate to a Master Inspector the proper procedures for inspection.
It is always special to share time with each employee and watch their special gifts unravel during the week. Great week of laughter, learning, sharing and most of all getting to know one another in a very special field of Cranes and Hoists.
