Carlton Group Further Extends Core Business Capabilities Through Acquisition of Everest Scale, Inc.

Carlton Group, a premier provider of industrial weighing and measuring services, has announced today that it has finalized the acquisition of Everest Scale, Inc., a locally owned and globally connected weighing solutions firm headquartered in South Carolina.
Everest Scale, Inc. is an accredited provider of Industrial, Food Retail, and Laboratory Weighing Solutions in the Upstate of South Carolina. Founded in 1933 as Edgar B. Heape & Son, Everest Scale has over 80 years of industry experience and is the oldest Mettler-Toledo Distributorship in North America.
Carlton Group, dba Carlton Scale, which has sold, serviced and designed all types of weighing instruments, scales, and controls since 1946, recently expanded the range of its industrial service, sales and automation solutions portfolio by bringing ES Hoisting Solutions into the fold In November 2021, followed by the addition of Crews Crane Training International (CCTI) in January 2022.
